STMA Rotary Announces January Students of the Month

STMA Rotary Club is pleased to announce that STMA juniors Allison Koetz, Emilee Linder and Mindy Arns were recognized as Rotary Students of the Month for January.
Allison is the daughter of Dave and Kelli Koetz of Albertville. She has received numerous academic honors including the Courtesy and Respect Award and two Student of the Trimester awards.  She is involved in numerous activities including the STMA adapted bowling team and STMA Special Olympics.  She also volunteers at the library. She plans to study computer science in college.

Emilee is the daughter of Pam and Mike Woytcke of St. Michael.  She has received several academic awards, including Honor Roll and Student of the Trimester.  She is involved in Planet Spirit cheerleading, E-Club, bowling and Special Olympics.

Mindy is the daughter of Norm and Debbie Arns of St. Michael.  She has received numerous academic awards including the Academic and Leadership Award in Social Studies, Student of the Trimester and the Courtesy and Respect Award.  She is active in dance, Girl Scouts and her church youth group.  Mindy has received the Girl Scouts’ Bronze, Silver and Gold Awards.  She also has been recognized for her contributions to a local food shelf and community garden.  She plans to pursue a career in cosmetology.
“Rotary is very proud to honor Allison, Emilee and Mindy,” said Kevin Lenz, STMA Rotary Club Community Service Chairman.  “These young ladies have demonstrated a commitment to academic excellence and to service above self through their involvement in community and school activities.  We wish them a succsessful future.”
