Nominate St. Michael's 2014 Holiday Cheermeister!

STMA Rotary and Shop Saint Michael are seeking nominations for St. Michael’s “Holiday Cheermeister.”  This special person will have the honor of lighting St. Michael’s holiday tree during the 3nd Annual Holiday Tree Lighting Celebration Dec. 1 at St. Michael City Center.

            Nominees for Holiday Cheermeister must be either St. Michael residents, be involved in a St. Michael organization or own or work at a St. Michael business. Nominees should be actively involved in the St. Michael community, embody the holiday spirit, and exemplify Rotary’s Four-Way Test, which asks: 

Of the things we think, say or do: 

1.Is it the TRUTH?, 

2.Is it FAIR to all concerned?, 


4.Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?

Nomination forms are available at Shop Saint Michael businesses, City Hall, and at   Nominations will be accepted through Nov. 10.  The Holiday Cheermeister will be selected by Shop Saint Michael and STMA Rotary and announced in mid-November.

            The Holiday Tree Lighting celebration is scheduled for 6 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 1.  This festive event will include caroling by the STMA High School Chamber Choir, and live jazz performances by the STMA High School Gold Jazz Band, kids’ activities, holiday stories, photos with Santa and much more.
