STMA Rotary Club is pleased to announce that Kristin Rogers has been named club president for the 2016-2017 Rotary year.

Rogers is a Fee-Only, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ at Financial Advocate for You (an office of Garrett Investment Advisors, LLC, a Fee-Only SEC registered investment advisor).  She has been active in the STMA Rotary for several years, serving as the Foundation Chairperson and STRIVE Program coordinator.  She also has helped with numerous local projects and fundraising events for the club.

“I am proud to be part of such an amazing organization that promotes ‘Service Above Self,’” Rogers said.  “The members of Rotary are a wonderful group of leaders and volunteers within our communities and I look forward to the great things we will accomplish over the next year!”

In 2015-2016, the STMA Rotary Club contributed nearly $14,000 to local community programs and international projects.  This year, the Rotary Club is planning to start a large signature event to raise even more funds to support the community.  It also is planning to start a ROTARACT youth club at STMA High School.
